Wedding in a Dallas Loft | Liz + Yoni

Some weddings feel carefully scripted; others feel like they were meant to happen exactly the way they did. Liz and Yoni’s day was the latter — full of warmth, intention, and beautiful spontaneity.

Earlier this year, I had the honor of photographing their Dallas wedding, capturing it on both digital and 35mm film — a day built around presence, connection, and celebrating the things that mattered most to them.

An Intimate Loft Wedding

Originally planning for an outdoor ceremony, the rain led to a last-minute move indoors, to the very salon where Liz gets her hair done — now transformed into a cozy loft space for the day. The venue, Sunflare Skincare, gave the celebration a relaxed, personal, and intimate vibe. Families and friends were seated together, without sides, creating an inclusive, welcoming environment for everyone present.

Blending Traditions With Love

Liz and Yoni’s ceremony beautifully combined Christian and Jewish traditions. One of their moms led the Christian portions, while the other guided the Jewish elements, creating a heartfelt and balanced ceremony. They opted out of a traditional aisle moment, instead centering the day on connection, presence, and shared family love. The thoughtful weaving of traditions made the ceremony feel meaningful, authentic, and uniquely theirs.

Capturing Candid, Wholesome Moments

After their ceremony, Liz and Yoni had a private moment to collect themselves and bask in the excitement of being newlyweds. From hair and makeup touch-ups to playful moments throughout the loft, the day was full of real, unscripted joy. Liz and Yoni’s personalities shone through every glance, laugh, and interaction, capturing the warmth, intimacy, and subtle charm of their celebration in a timeless, tangible way.

Delicious, Thoughtful Celebration

Liz and Yoni also had custom cookies made by The Cookie House, adding another personal and sweet touch to their celebration.

Food was especially important to Liz and Yoni — they run their own private dinner events, so every bite mattered. The evening featured Taco Y Vino, making the celebration intentional, personal, and reflective of their love for culinary experiences. Their attention to detail mirrors the care they put into their own dinners; you can check out their work on Instagram @wolfandthefoxdinners. This focus on food helped make the day approachable, cozy, and truly tailored to who they are as a couple, while giving their guests a memorable, delicious experience.

A Non-Traditional, Personal Wedding

Liz and Yoni’s day proves that weddings don’t have to follow a script to feel meaningful. By blending traditions, embracing mixed seating, and celebrating in a familiar and intimate loft, they created a day that was uniquely theirs. Every choice — from ceremony elements to venue and food — reflected their personalities and values.

Planning a Wedding Your Way

Even when plans change, a wedding can still feel intentional, inclusive, and full of love. Liz and Yoni’s day is proof that you can:

  • Blend traditions that matter to you

  • Break away from conventional ceremony structures

  • Choose spaces that feel personal and meaningful

  • Celebrate in a way that prioritizes connection and joy

No matter the size, the location, or the plan, a day that feels true to who you are will always be remembered fondly — just like Liz and Yoni’s.
